Help the Homeless Walkathon
The Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Program is the nation’s largest fundraising effort focused on homelessness.
Last year, through the walkathon and with the help of the community, AACH raised nearly $20,000 to support our services. This year, with your support, we hope to increase that amount by an additional $10,000.
100% of all registration fees, donations and additional funds raised through this program go directly to supporting AACH. In addition, Fannie Mae offers an incentive for recruiting more walkers. The more supporters who walk for AACH, the more Fannie Mae will donate toward our programs.
You can help:
1) Sign-up to host a mini-walk through your school, faith community, or organization.
2) Walking with AACH on November 20th, 2010. Register today!
3) Become a walkathon sponsor – and designate AACH as your beneficiary! Sponsorship details
4) Sponsor a client! For $25, you can sponsor a client to walk to support AACH. Simply write your check payable to “Fannie Mae Help the Homeless/CFNCR”

When I first became a client of the program, I was straight out of the shelter for the homeless and pretty much still homeless. Battling with cancer, with a two-year-old baby and a twelve-year-old child, I didn’t know where our next roof would be. AACH saved our lives. I don’t know where I would be today were it not for them.
